How to know your Yoga clothing size?
Measuring yourself for yoga outfit is quite simple. The major body measurements are bust, chest, waist and hips. If you need to know how to measure yourself for yoga clothes eadr the following paragraphs. A fully expert body measurement for clothing sizes articles is here
CHEST size
Using the soft tape measure and wrap it under your armpits at the widest part of your chest. The tape measure should be snug around your chest and shoulder blades, but not so tight that it compresses your chest. Subtract the smaller number from the larger number and you have your chest measurement.
BUST size
Measure around the back, under the arms and across the fullest part of your breasts. The tape measure should be flat against the figure, straight across the back and not too tight.
WAIST size
Measure around your natural waistline, which is the narrowest area of the waist. The waistline is usually over the belly button or close to the belly button. Stand with feet together. Keeping tape straight and parallel to the floor, measure around the fullest part. Measure the inside length of your leg from the crotch to the bottom of your ankle.
Men should measure their waist circumference and their inseam in order to find accurate sizing for their yoga pants. The waist is measured by using a soft measuring tape to measure the circumference of the waist just above the belly button.
HIPS size
Among all measurements, this one is the most tricky. There are two ways to go about this.
1. Feet together:
To measure your hips in this manner, remove your outer garments, put your feet together, and wrap a soft measuring tape straight and snug around the widest part of your hips. Your hips are the edges of the bone that your legs are connected to. Your hip measurement is the point at which the end of the tape meets the remaining length.
2. Feet apart:
Standing with feet shoulder-width apart, wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your hips, across your butt and straight across the front of your pelvis. If done properly, the tape should be above the upper starting line of your pubic hair. Make sure to keep the tape snug, but not tight, and ensure that the tape measure is level from front to back. Hold the measuring tape parallel to the floor – Circle it around the widest part of the hips, crossing behind the back. Meet the measuring tape with your other finger to find your hip size. Hold the tape still so that it doesn’t sag or twist around the hip area.

Yoga In Style
Two sustainable yoga clothing brands are usually up for discussion. The brands that are regularly head to head in yoga attires are Alo Yoga and Lululemon.
Alo Yoga is a streetwear-inspired yoga clothing company known for super soft fabrics and flattering fits, particularly high-waisted shorts and leggings. As the name implies, Alo Yoga specializes in yoga clothes, although people do other types of workouts in Alo Yoga leggings and tops.
On the other hand Lululemon specializes in laser-focused performance wear. Each product has an express purpose: Some leggings are designed specifically for running while others are designed specifically for yoga, for example. The product description of each item tells you what it’s made for and how that specific product will improve your performance at that activity. The bright colors, flattering fits and durable fabrics help, too.
Both brands have their pros and cons, but overall, Lululemon comes out on top. Lululemon makes performance-driven and a wide range of sport-specific clothes compared to Alo Yoga’s lounge- and streetwear focus.
Alo Yoga only offers one financing option (Afterpay), Lululemon offers two (Afterpay and Klarna). Both brands lack in the plus-size department, only offering a handful of items larger than a size 14. Both Alo Yoga and Lululemon are both expensive, therefore your purchasing decision comes down to what type of clothing better suits your needs. If you want to invest in durable clothing that will stand up to uber-sweaty, high-impact workouts, go with Lululemon. If you simply want luxurious clothing for yoga and everyday wear, go with Alo Yoga.
The primary and most important yoga attire is an affordable pair of yoga pants. Yoga pants are tight fitting high three-quarters reaching from ankle to waist, originally designed for yoga as exercise and first sold in 1998 by Lululemon, a company founded for that purpose. They were initially made of a mix of synthetic fabrics like nylon and Lycra; more specialised moisture-wicking fabrics have been introduced to provide moisture-wicking, compression, and body aeration.
While the options for plus-size activewear apparel for women used to be somewhat limited, there has been a boon of stylish, size-inclusive yoga brands in the last few years. As fitness influencer Chasi Jernigan puts it: “Caring for your body does not stop at a certain size,” and now more activewear brands are recognizing that. To find plus-size workout clothing for women that are both comfortable and supportive, you just need to check out one activewear manufacturer or another. Products of Adidas such as Adidas Essentials Plus-Size and the Athleta Salutation Stash Pocket Leggings by Athleta are both great favorites in the world of plus-sized cool women.
Conclusion
Sustainable yoga clothes, sports bras and a yoga mat are all you need to do yoga. All these are readily available in the activewear industry. Friendly yoga clothes are readily available from any activewear manufacturer.
Leave a comment behind and we wish you a lovely yoga journey.
