How to Measure Your iPad Screen Size
Mostly, the iPad is measured diagonally. To find the right measurement, you can measure using a ruler from the bottom of the screen left corner to its top-right corner. Note should be taken to ensure that the measurement is from the corner of the screen and not from the iPads outer corners. Also, the measurement is taken in inches.
Pro Tip: The screen size is always smaller than the overall device dimensions. For example, an “11-inch iPad” refers to the diagonal screen measurement, but the device itself is larger when measured edge-to-edge.
